In 1997, Unitas Investigative Services, Inc. provided expert analysis of fire and explosive incidents in the United States and abroad. When the theft of explosives and domestic terrorist bombing activities increased, UIS, Inc. offered bomb and explosive canines as a tool to protect businesses.

When the need to combat the use of narcotics in the workplace was requested, Unitas Investigative Services, Inc. again offered canines as a protective measure. When the United States Department of Defense requested assistance in conducting Top Secret background investigations, UIS, Inc. provided experienced, confidential investigators. Since then, Unitas Investigative Services, Inc. broadened its canine division to include accelerant and human remain detection canines. In light of recent international and domestic events, we have broadened our services to include the training of canines for immediate sale or lease to qualifying agencies.

Our Agents bring their training, knowledge, and experience from such agencies as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Department of Defense, National Security Agency and State and local law enforcement. Over one-half of these Agents are certified instructors in the areas of Fire and Explosive Investigations, Personal Security (self-defense) and Liability and Risk Management.
